The CAP patented Concussion Testing Device and technology is the ONLY concussion prevention program in the world that safely tests the risk of sustaining concussions and provides training to prevent them.

Calgary, Edmonton and St. Albert, Alberta – May 9th, 2018 – CAP Corporation (CAP), Athletes Nation One and Kinetic Conditioning (ANKC) announced today that they have partnered to deliver The CAP Concussion Prevention and Brain Repair Programs to their clients.

ANKC, who have trained the likes of Jerome Iginla, Tyler Ennis, Jared and Tyler Spurgeon, and Turner Elson, will officially launch The CAP Programs May 9th. In addition to training professional hockey players, their clients also include many Western Hockey League and amateur athletes.

Dan Lajoie, Director of Athletic Performance at Athletes Nation stated that, “Keeping our athletes injury-free is a number one priority, so when we learned that CAP had developed the first of its kind concussion prevention program, we jumped at the opportunity to partner with them. We train to prevent other types of injuries, why not concussions, it just makes sense.”

Brad McNamara, Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Athletes Nation added that, “What we never really know as a Coach is what level of strength is required to be protected for any injury, let alone concussions. The CAP Program changes that, it tests each athletes’ current level and sets individualized strength goals to reduce their risk as they progress throughout their careers.”

Kim Adolphe, CAP CEO added, “We are very excited to partner with an organization like ANKC whose incredible track record speaks for itself and, who is equally passionate about reducing the risk of concussions. The CAP concussion safety standard is a major, first step in making contact sports safer for everyone.”
