Sports Brain Mapping 4 CAPletes, first of many @ Home Programs to Come

Calgary, Alberta – North Carolina – April 30th , 2020 – CAP Corporation (CAP) and corticalmetrics (home of the Brain Gauge) announce the continued growth of their collaboration to deliver Telemedicine and @ Home programs for tracking and improving cognitive metrics for everything from Sports Brain Mapping to Fall Prevention.

The CAP Brain Repair Protocol program is now available via a Telemedicine model. CAP integrated Cortical Metrics’ Brain Gauge technology and launched this program in 2019 to provide a blueprint for clinicians to implement optimal treatment strategies for their patients suffering from concussions.

CAP is continuing to expand their offerings with a range of @ home applications delivered via their Software as a Service platform, the Brain Gauge home version, and eLearning courses. These new CAP Brain Gain Programs mean that they can remotely assess cognitive metrics and deliver individualized action plans, education and training that tap into the brains endless capacity for optimizing every aspect of life from the comfort, convenience, and safety of home.

Dr. Mark Tommerdahl, CEO of Cortical Metrics stated that, “The Brain Gauge telemedicine app has been used in both military and clinical settings. The Brain Gauge home version combined with the applications CAP is developing will allow us to reach a broader audience and help people young and old alike to monitor and track brain health for a wide spectrum of applications.”

“The ability to deliver brain gauge into the home combined with our unique CAP applications is a ‘game changer’. You suspect you may have sustained a concussion; you plug the Brain Gauge into any computer and the data is transmitted in real time to a clinician. Perhaps you want to optimize your athletic performance, or you are at risk of falling, or you are home schooling and want to enhance the fundamental mechanics of learning. These are just a few of the applications we are developing”, added CAP CEO Kim Adolphe.
