Centre is Home to Many of Canada’s Top MMA Fighters
Calgary and Lethbridge, Alberta, – June 19, 2020 – CAP Corporation (CAP) and Canadian Martial Arts Centre (CMC MMA) announce their partnership to deliver CAP Programs.
CMC MMA owner, Lee Mein, the Grampinator, at 52, is the oldest, active fighter with a win, and the owner of the Canadian Martial Arts Centre, a world class MMA gym with full weight room and cardio equipment. Many of Canada’s top MMA fighters train there including his son, Jordan Mein, who won two UFC fights in a row recently and has signed with Bellator.
Lee stated that, “I have been following CAP’s progress for a while now thinking finally, there was a company taking an entirely different and proactive approach to concussions. I decided it was time to learn more, so I took their CAP 4 Combat Sports course on my phone! Most fighters do everything from their phone so this alone could have been a deal breaker. The mobile delivery, educational content, and approach to training was impressive and convinced me it was time to test their RAM and Brain Gauge technologies for myself. I was sold and can’t wait to launch these ground-breaking programs in my own gym and, introduce them to the MMA world.”
Kim Adolphe, CAP CEO added that, “We are so excited and honored to have someone of Lee’s stature validate our programs. He is an icon in the world of MMA and has witnessed firsthand the problems related to concussions and brain health. Due to the lack of knowledge, effective tools and proactive strategies, the default has been to force fighters to get an MRI at their expense. A new day is dawning.”
About CAP Corporation
We educate and empower clinicians, coaches, trainers, athletes, parents, and all stakeholders to achieve peak athletic and brain performance with the most advanced, proven, and appropriate technological programs. Unprecedented data capture and analysis is at the core of all our programs which are delivered via a Software as a Service model combined with the RAM and/or Brain Gauge technology and eLearning courses.
We were founded on the principle that preventing concussions from occurring is about changing the athlete – not the sport. The patented RAM machine is clinically validated and the only technology in the world that measures concussion risk, generates individualized training protocols, safety standards, and tracks performance.
Our CAP Brain Repair Protocol, Corporate Wellness, and Brain Gain @ Home programs implement the Brain Gauge technology and can be delivered via a Telemedicine model. The design of the Brain Gauge methodology is based on decades of neuroscientific research. These programs tap into the brains endless capacity for optimizing every aspect of life for young and old alike from the comfort, convenience, and safety of home.
CAP dedicates significant resources to ongoing concussion research working closely with leading scientists at Universities, Government, and Private Institutes.
